Realization

kyu looked up at the sky as he walked adn then over to tala then back in front of him

Shuffling her feet, she stared at the horizon, her eyes narrowed, mouth set in a grim line.

Her face was solid.

Part of her felt like she was leaving her world behind. LIke she coudn't be Fang anymoe. It would be easier for the others, she knew.

This was it....she would have to adapt.

kayu continued walking and thought about what would happen when he left them sure ill come through every now and then for supplies but.. he thought to himself

Fang kept her distance from the others. How was she going to do this?

She was a freakin' wolf!

Biting the inside of her cheek, like she did when she was under stress, she continued to scowl and lead them through the dead landscape

"ugh" kayu said and continued walking

Fang didn't even turn around.

"ugh" ryu said and continued walking

She rolled her eyes.

"What?" she snapped

"huh idk just ugh" ryu replied

Fang huffed and ignored it

"ugh" ryu did again just to annoy her

Fang mumbled a swearword.

"ugh" colby did again

[this is fun]

Fang shook with rage but kept her mouth shut

"ok whats up with the sun"

"It's called sunrise.." she explained in an irritated tone, as if to a 3-year-old. 'Dimwit..'she mumbled under her breath.

Fang's lip twitched as if to smile, then it faded.

Frowning at the horizon, she made her trek in stony silence.

She was not looking forward to this

Laurie stayed a ways back from the group, feeling squashed in the middle of them.

And so the 'funeral procession' as Fang like to call it, progressed

And after several hours, it was noon, and they were outside the wasteland.

Laurie looked at her beloved home as they passed it exited the Wastelands.

She moved up closer to the group, but to the side.

Fang didn't even bat an eye at the gorgeous change of foliage as they came out of the 'Bad Lands' and into the respective Paradise of Hyrule Field.

She didn't stop to eat lunch either.

Or dinner.

Or to sleep.

As much as they all hated her that moment for it, Fang didnt care. If she was gonna have to live among humans, she was gonna do it in a timely manner.

As stars peeked out and the moon rose, Fang crossed the proverbial threshold into the domain of the humans

Castle Town.

Laurie looked around, seeing that she was at the place she had been raised in.
"Fang.." she siad, walking up beside her," where are we going to stay? Have you decided yet?" she asked, her stomach turning.

Fang gave her a look.

"Of course I have." she said

Which really meant 'How dare you question me?'

With an air of indignancy, she led them to a more...shady...part of town.

Laurie rolled her eyes and followed Fang.

Fang looked at the predatory eyes of the more low-life of Hyrule's bustling metropolis, following the girls.

"Don't make eye-contact." she said "Ignore them. Most of them will at least not bother you."

They'd left Ryu, and were now considered more vulnerable. Fang's inept senses picked up on it, and she was on her toes.

"Make sure you have your weapons out where they can see them, and have a no-nonsense attitude."

Which, essentially, summed up Fang in a nutshell.
