Ev was already out the door by the time Pen finished her sentence, poking ehr head in and out of doors until she came to the room Catherine was in.
"Cath, are you okay?" she helped her up.

"I'm fine. But the lady wasn't very nice." Catherine said quietly, still staring at the space the figure was only a few moments ago.

"Cathy...there was no one in the house beside us."

Pen, however jumped at the chance of someone else being in the house.

"What did she look like?" Pen demanded, scrambling for her notebook and trying to form coherent sentences, "Was she of this world? W-was she a ghost or a werewolf or what?"

"She was very pretty. And lonely. I think we would've been good friends." she said with a sigh.

"She means what was she wearing. Stuff like that." Ev explained.

"Oh...she was wearing a lovely wedding dress. Except, it was blood stained on the front of her gown. Right where her heart should have been. I think someone she loved dearly stole it." Catherine said quietly.

Pen bit her lip, writing it down quickly. "Oh, Nayru! I have to find her!"

"She's gone. I'm not sure if she'll come back.."Catherone said, slumping down to the floor.

"Uhm..guys..we have a problem.." Ev said, trying to unlock the bolted door," It's not opening."

A soft, velvety laugh echoed through the house, and all the curtain promptly closed, casting the house into darkness.

Pen felt her stomach turn.

Not from fear; from excitement. "It's a ghost!" she whispered, happily, reaching for her pictograph box.

Catherine giggled.
"She's back to plaaaay." she sang.

Evelynn pulled on the door's handle with all her might, but it wouldn't budge.

Lilith somehow made the temperature drop five degrees

Pen groped her way through the darkness, towards the mirror. "Anybody got a light?" she demanded quickly.

"There's a lantern over in the corner." Catherine remembered, and stumbled her way across to it.

She brought it back and handed it to Pen.
"You have a match in your bag?"

"Always."

Pen lit her up, and the next instant, was staring face to face with Lilith.

Catherine smiled a little.

Ev, on the other hand, was doing all she could not to scream.

Pen placed her hand on the glass, and the image faded.

"NO! Come back!"

"She'll be back soon." Cathy said, rocking back and forth on her heels.

Pen frowned, "What makes you say that?"

"I don't believe she would keep us locked up in here if she wasn't coming back." the young girl said.

She shrugged. "You never know with ghosts."

Cathy shrugged, and delicately touched the mirror again.

Pen sighed, plopping onto the dusty bed. "Well. Here we are then."

Evelynn bit her lip.
"Well..you're a ghostie paranormal person. Aren't you supposed to be able to bring ghosts out?" she asked pointedly.

Pen shrugged, "Well, when you put it that way," she said, standing.

She cleared her throat and paused dramatically, before calling, "O Spirit of the mansion, maiden whose heart was stolen, won't you show yourself to us now?"

Oh man, if Autumn could see me now...

"We wish only to meet you, we want to see you! Please do us the honor or gracing use with your prescence!"

Evelynn nudged her sister as Cathy stifled back the giggles.

"Guess she doesn't like to play hide and seek. Then again, neither do I. Everybody always got back to base before I could catch them. Not the fast runner, am I. Such a shame. Cathy's good at it, though. She's also pretty good at croquet. But hasn't touched a mallet since the freak accident where the ball flew up at knocked that poor kid out.." Evelynn rattled on, followed by her sibling's exhausted sigh.

Pen cocked an eyebrow at Evelyn. "Gift of gab, yes?"

The curtains ruslted, and she resumed talking to the ghost. "Hello?"

"No. She just never shuts up." Cathy mumbled.

Lillith drifted through the wall, watching the three, deathly quiet.

Evelynn gawked at the ghost, whilst Cathy gave a small smile and a little wave.
