The Gathering

Jon Talbain had found a secret chart leading to glorious treasures across the seas. He had purchased a ship and is now in search of a crew. He had just finished posting fliers all over hyrule saying to meet him at The Aeternus Luna [a local inn/bar].

Jon, being the traveler he is had already rented a room for his stay in hyrule. A few hours before the meeting is suppose to start, Jon left his room, had some dinner, and sat at a rather large round table awaiting for anyone who saw his fliers and decided to come.

[Also, I would like to keep this topic between the members who are on almost everyday. Thank you and lets have fun.]

[P.S. just have your character walk in do w/e you want to get to Jon. i.e. *Blank* walked into the inn and asked the front desk if a Jon Talbain was here.

"Yes he is living here. Oh, and i see he is sitting right over ther *points*" said the manager of the inn.

"Thank you," replied *Blank*.

He/she then walked over to 'Jon' and said, "Hello, Jon, I saw your ad and wished to accompany you on this quest."]

Aislin and Ariel marched right up into the inn, and to the front desk.

The innkeeper stopped to look down at the girls doubtfully. "Um...aren't you two a little young to be in here?"

The twins exchanged glances. "We're sixteen." Aislin informed him, "And we're looking for a Jon Talbain."

"Suuure ya are." he said. The fact that the twins were not the tallest young women in Hyrule was working against them.

The redheaded twins sighed.

Well, its nearly time for the meeting... And it seems no one is willing to come Jon thought as he looked around the inn.

He noticed the two girls by the front desk, and pondered to himself as to why such little girls would be coming here.

"Look, we're telling the truth!" Ariel protested, "We're almost seventeen years old!"

Aislin waved her hand as if to brush away the statement, "Don't worry about it. Just tell us where Jon Talbain is, please."

The innkeeper shrugged and pointed in Jon's general direction. "Stupid kids..." he muttered.

Jon noticed the innkeeper point toward him and the girls looking at him.

They can't be here for the meeting. They are so young. He thought.

The two walked right up to Jon, holding up his flier. "Are you Jon Talbain? Aislin asked.

Noticing the flier, "So you two little ladies really want to come with me on this here adventure?" he said sounding somewhat skeptical.

Aislin was fighting to keep control of her temper. This happened wherever they went; despite their fast-approaching adulthood, the twins had maintained a youthful appearance that made everyone doubt their claims.

"Yes, we'd like that very much." Ariel nodded.

"And we're sixteen." Aislin added.

"Well, in that case go ahead and sit right on down, we still have some time to wait till others show up." Jon stated happily.

I wonder what these two are really capable of... he thought, their looks are very deceiving, they look like mere children, but they seem to have the heart and soul of the wisest man...

The two happily sat down, chit chatting among themselves.

They were often mistaken for some sort of Kokiri halfling...but that would just be nasty, when you thought about it.

At any rate, Aislin listened while Ariel talked, replying and offering her openion at various intervals.

Gabriella paraded in and started towards the bartender.
"Honestly, you little rat, if you don't stop following me.." she murmered to the little elf-like creature behind her.

"Dobby is sorry madame," the dirty creature replied," But Dobby believes he could be of assistance to you."

"Jon Tolbain?" Gabby asked the bartender, trying to ignore the annoying 'thing' behind her.

"Anything to drink, ma'am?" came the reply.

"No, just point me in the direction of Jon Tolbain is all I ask."

The bartender stuck a thumb to the man and two younger looking girls sitting beside him.

She scooted a chair out and plopped down in it, crossing her arms.
"Tolbain, I presume?" she asked, while Dobby crept into a chair beside her and sat on his knees.

Magpie opened the Inn door, wearing her old black traveling cloak, hood covering her conspicuous headband. She had her bow and quiver under her cloak, as well as her straight featherblade dagger. In one hand was her companion, a blue-black magpie. In the other was a flyer.

She walked up to the counter and opened her mouth to speak.

"Jon Tolbain's over there," the Innkeeper said, pointing her in the right direction.

Magpie blinked, surprised. "Oh, um...thank you." She walked over to the table where Jon and the rest sat. "I suppose this is where we meet, yes?"

"Why yes it is. I am Jon Talbain." He replied.

"It seems that no one else is willing to come on this journey so I guess it will just be us... 6." he added.

"So you all know me, who are all you?"

[Ooh...so does this mean Gale has the Wonderland Duo?]

The twins surveyed the motley crew: they were a sight to behold.

"I'm Aislin, and this is Ariel." the eldest twin said.

[Hah, I guess. We'll continue that other little RP with Gabby actually being there, K?]

Gabriella stared the lot of them down,not flinching from her scowl.

There was the red-headed, wonderland duo. One seemed quieter,probabky smarter too. Whereas the other seemed a bit..peppier?

Then there was the young lady dressed in black, with her outfit contradicting white headband.

And then there was this mysterious 'Talbain' fellow. He semmed a bit off his rocker to Gabby, seeiong as how he'd put fliers up all over town, not even explaining their purpose.
Then again, maybe she was a bit off her rocker for even coming...

But back at the ranch....
Gabriella just stared at them, debating on whether to share anything with them.
"Gabriella." managed to flow out.

The twins exchanged glances.

"Well," the elder of the two said, standing, "What brings us all here? We're going to be travelling partners, so let's get to know each other, yes?"

[I know. I just wanted to call them that anyway, though. Lol. :P]

Gabriella only stared blankly at the girl, blinking a few times.

Dobby's eyes were intently listening to everything going on.
"Oh, and I'm Dobby." he said quietly.

"Lovely. Your brilliant commentary moves me," Aislin said, "Truly a compelling speech."

Ariel sighed, "Let's just get going, shall we?"

Magpie remained quiet, since noone had asked her a direct question yet. She wasn't antisocial, just...quiet.

Ariel looked suddenly at the shy girl, smiling.

"Hi! I'm Ariel!" she said, extending a hand.

"I believe thats been established." Gabriella murmered.

Aislin cast her a dark look. "I do not believe the conversation was directed at you."

She was always quick to defend her twin. Ariel sighed, "Don't worry about it, Aislin."

Magpie nodded, but didn't take the offered hand. She remained standing, surveying the rest of the group.

"What's your name?" she asked Magpie.

Mag blinked. "Magpie."
