Apocalypse Here...

"We're talking we could probably see her stomach growling, if not barking, if she were hungry... So yes, she must have acknowledged it." Alena replied to Zelda.

"I did everything I could to help heal it, but you can't argue with Kad when she's set her mind to something...she told me to bandage it and then she headed off to go find Fell.."

"As for suggestions?" she continued, "there's not really much we can do at the moment.." she said, her voice trailing off.

Zelda growled, "For the love of Din! Why must the girl be so blasted stubborn?!"

Link looked grim. Airas was now hiccuping while holding onto him like a frightened child. "Is K-Kadomi g-going to die?" she stammered, sniffling.

Zelda felt her stomach twist. "...I don't know, Airas..."

The Princess thought not only of the Seal anymore...it's importance came second-rank to the safety of her friends, "...We can only hope not...for the good of us all..."

Link grimaced. "I don't know what to tell you, Zel..." he mumbled, "Why would she do something so foolish."

Zelda scowled, her mood, prodded by worry, taking a turn for the worse. "Because she's a Gerudo! The whole lot of them are stubborn, irrational, selfish young hotheads!" she spat, "They can't do anything but swing a sword around and steal!"

Link looked at Zelda, visibly shocked. Airas fell silent.

After a moment, she spoke, "...You can't mean that..."

Alena stared blankly at Zelda, as did Keahi.

"I'm sorry, Zel.." Alena said sloemnly.

Zelda waved it away, annoyed, "No, it's not your fault! It's hers for always being so coarse and rough and insensitive!"

Link frowned, didn't say anything. Airas looked deeply saddened.

"...Zelda..." she said, somber. "Don't let your anger consume you...would you like me to relieve it...?"

Zelda was tempted...but shook her head, "No. If I'm to be a successful ruler for Hyrule, I'll have to be able to deal with my own emotions as I see fit."

Again the group fell silent...

[So, from now on, Zel and Kad are going to have a little bit of a rift, as Zelda is disgusted with her finally, and has given up on Gerudo in general. This was just the straw that broke the camel's back for her. Doesn't help that Ganondorf is a Gerudo. Anyway, I have a little subplot to help Zelda understand things...]

Alena stepped back quickly, nodding her head in acknowledgement of Zelda's feelings.

"Then what are we gonna do now?" Keahi asked

Zelda scowled, "We're going to find her and drag her ungrateful self back here," she mumbled, stomping off to the wagon.

Link blinked, "Um...wow...I've never seen her so angry..."

Airas sighed, "I have. It's rare, though..."

"I wish I hadn't.." Keahi mumbled beside Airas.

Alena followed after Zelda, climbing quickly into the buggy.

Tara sighed, lifting into the air. So much pain again...too much pain...they're breaking apart...

"I believe she went west.." Alena said quietly, leaning comfortably in the corner of the wagon.

Airas frowned, "What about Aqua and Kiara?...I suppose they're in good hands...right? I mean...I guess..."

She didn't sound too sure of herself.

Link sighed, "I don't know, Airas..." he said, weary.

Tara spiraled down from above and landed with a thud on the dusty path. She folded her sleeves back, but kept to herself, not speaking.

Airas eyed her uneasily. "Umm..hi Tara..." she ventured.

Tara looked at the Kokiri and smiled. "Hello." She kept her pace, never stopping except to check on the unconscious Iko in the rear wagon.


{She was going to drag Iko behind the wagon, but Scypher wouldn't let her.... ^^;}

{Scy? An impediment to violence? Sacre bleu!}

The little girl inhaled deeply, "...What...what happened?" she said weakly

Tara smiled again. "Nothing much...Just a run-in with an old...aquaintance. Saving the future, things like that." She glanced at Iko, who lay still, Scypher and Kael eyeing her. "Is she awake, Scy?" Tara called.

Iko groaned and began to stir, but Scy rapped her sharply on the side of the head with her dagger handle, causing her to fall limply back onto the wago floor. "Nope. She's out like a light."

Airas frowned, "What do you mean save the future...?"

The Wyndryder's hand strayed to her hidden pendant. "Nothing serious, really...it was stopped, so we don't have to worry about it." She tried to act cheerful, but her shaking voice gave her away.

The Kokiri looked at her oddly. "You can tell me." she said sincerely, "I'm a big girl."

Tara nodded. "I know that, but it's not of importance at the moment. Some other time, perhaps?" She looked at Airas kindly, talking to an equal. "I will tell you, and everyone else as well. They should need to know what has happened."

Satisfied, the little girl nodded, "Well, alright..." she muttered, "but I'll help you if you need it..."

Airas smiled brightly, waved a hand in front of her face, and made a meloncholy expression for emphasis.

Tara smiled, her hand dropping to her side. "Thank you for understanding," she said. "All things must be told, but only at their right time..."

Airas nodded. "Exactly. Well said, Tara."

She smiled, and fished around in her pocket. "Let me make you some organic tea, yes?"
