Apocalypse Here...

"Bingo." Zelda muttered. Link grabbed his sword, dashing after her, Zelda on his heels.

"GET HER!" she yelled, shedding her heels for more stair-friendly footwork.

Tara and Fell virtually flew up the stairs, Fell pushing herself along with her wings, Tara fueled by rage.

Iko ran up to the courtyard, swatting the guards aside and taking the appearance of one.

Zelda froze upon entering the courtyard.

"GUARDS!" she said, "RECITE TO ME THE CODE OF HONOR!"

She scanned the lot of them, searching for the one at a loss of words.

"Drat..." Iko dropped her guise and ran full-tilt through the hedges, making her way to the castle gates.

Tara wouold have none of it. She swooped upon the impostor like a hawk on a mouse, and dropped Iko like a stone, pushing her face into the dirt and grass.

Link and Zelda stood inches away, sword in his hand, and spell on her lips.

Tara held Iko's hair, keeping her mouth in the grass. She brought her mouth close to Iko's ear, whispering, deathly quiet. "Do you remember what I said ater I returned home that night, Iko?"

The Chibi wriggled furiously, raising her head the little she could. "Nmppfh"

Hero and Princess exchanged glances...they'd never seen Tara like this.

Tara let Iko spit out the mud and plant matter, then repeated her words. "Do you remember, Iko? I'm sure you do...because you were hiding in the shadows as I screamed it to all of Hyrule..." Hot tears filled her eyes. "What did I say, Iko? Tell me. TELL ME!"

Iko spat. "You said that you'd find who did that to your family and make sure they never did anything like that again," she said boredly. "So what will you do? Kill me? I highly doubt that."

Link threw his sword at Tara's feet for her to use, silent.

Tara ignored Link's blade, but dug her elbow into Iko's back. "You don't think I can kill you, Iko? You really doubt that?" She laughed, and chills went down Fell's spine.

"Oh, I could kill you, alright. But I won't. I'm not that low, Iko. Not like you."

[I only did that because I'm running out of things to do...lol...carry on]

Iko actually cried out as Tara pressed her elbow into her back.
"No, Iko, I won't kill you," the wyndryder hissed, her free hand leaving Iko's back and coming to her carefully-concealed pendant. "But you'll never do anything like this again..." She ground Iko's face into the dirt again, anger twisting her face as the blue stone wings began to pulse. They grew brighter, pulsed faster, and Tara passed them before Iko's face. The Chibi screamed, throwing Tara off and covering her face with her hands.

Fell crouched, ready to defend her friend if need be, but Iko never attacked.
Because she couldn't.
Because she was blind.

Zelda and Link looked on in growing horror...

Tara let Iko up, staring at her scornfully.
Fell was nonplussed, Gerudo-formed. "But...how? If you let her go, she'll just go back to her old ways, won't she?"
Tara shook her head, turning her back on the blinded Chibi. "She can only change forms when there's something to look at. If she can't see, she can't know what to turn into, and she can't change."

"...And she can't change," mocked Iko, imitating Tara's voice perfectly. "You think you've won, but you've just made me more hateful. Just because I can't see doesn't mean I haven't seen--uugnh!!" She collapsed, and Tara handed Link's sword back to him, hilt first.

"That should shut her up for a while," Tara said, her voice normal once more as she eyes the goose egg on Iko's head. "We should get her somewhere where she won't hurt anyone..."

Link sheathed his weapon, nodding.

"Any place in mind?"

Tara shook her head. "Nothing comes to mind right away..."

Fell blinked. "The old camp, where we went when the Castle Guards found our old one?"

Zelda nodded. "I agree...but let's check up on the others first..."

Tara nodded. "Will do." She put her pendant and chain back beneath her collar.

When they arrived at the camp, Zelda's jaw fairly dropped.

Link opened and closed his own mouth, unsure of whether to speak or remain silent.

Airas was curled into a ball in the wagon with Tika. Dried blood and shreds of clothing littered the area, and pots and pans were overturned, scattered carelessly on the ground.

She looked up, eyes troubled, and dashed toward Zelda, hugging her around the legs and staring up at her, "Oohhhh, Zelda!" she fretted, "Whatarewegonnadoooooo?!"

[Question? Is Fell with them? Or off with Kad?]

Alena blinked, sitting against the wagon's wheel with her knees tighly bound to her chest with her arms.

She sighed nonchalantly at Zelda, Link, Tara; everybody. But didn't say a word. She wasn't going to say anything until someone asked what happened.

[I was wondering this myself...hmm...*cough* I'd say off with Kad. -time warp- Ask Mika though.]

Airas looked worried, "FellattackedKadomiandthentheyfoughtanddestroyedthecampandKadomigothurtandwetoldhertostaybutshewouldn'tandnowshe'soutokillFell!"

As impressive a feat as getting the whole sentence in one breath, Zelda had hardly caught any of it.

She turned a quizzical look on Keahi and Alena, as Link comforted the now-sobbing Kokiri.

"What happened? Where's Kadomi, Fell, Aqua, and Kiara?! She should have been back here by now, at least!"

[M'Kay.]

"Well..." Alena started, taking in a deep breath.

"Kiara is still off with Vaati and that Saraia girl. Aqua just disappeared, so I have no clue where she is, but I have some theories."

"And then Kadomi is off to kill Fell," she paused, taking in a breath, "because while you were gone, when Fell touched some dark magic in the form of a cloud, something consumed her and made her attack Kadomi. Somewhere along the way, Fell turned into a monster, injured Kadomi badly, and then was knocked out and then she just...disappeared."

"So now, we've got a rampaging Gerudo out for Fell's blood. Not a good combo."


Keahi only blinked.
"Yeah. Uh, what she said."

Link and Zelda exchanged glances, the former sucking in her breath, and the latter groaning.

"A pissed off Kadomi is the last thing we need," Link said, drumming his fingers on his belt, "Suggestions?"

Zelda sighed, "As skilled as you are in your swordplay, and we are in out magics," she said, motioning to the Sages and herself, "I'm somewhat tentative at the thought of taking on those two..."

She looked at Alena, "You said she injured Kadomi badly...exactly how badly are we talking here, Alena? Bad enough for Kad to acknowlege it?"
