Fang Adjusts to City Life (with many a comical result)

[Yes. It's a long title. Oh well]

Fang had left early that morning, deciding to scout out the city and learn about humans. She had to blend, she knew.

Laurie woke uo to an empty cot beside her.
"Great.." she said,"Oh well..she can take care of ehrself." she thought.

Gale followed after Fang, being very subtle about it.

Fang absently passed by an apple cart. Recognizing the fruit, she grabbed one without thinking as she passed

Suddenly, she was brought out of her reverie by shouts and curses

"THEIF" someone yelled. They grabbed her by the wrist.

Enraged, she reared back, as if to strike the man, a blow that would have sent him sprawling backward.

Gale winced at what happened. He raced up behind her, and pulled ehr away around the corner.

He became invisible, once she was around there, leaving no trace of her beng there.

"What's their problem?" she said to herself "They just leave it out there and then they yell at me when I take it!"

She looked around for what had pulled her into the alley, but saw no one.

Shrugging, she continued on his way

[Clearly, Gale is going to have his hands full]

[lol, yup!!]

Gale waited for her to leave the alley, then resumed his full body and walked out, his collar turned up, hat covering most of his face.

He kept a steady pace, eyes set on her.

Fang got the feeling something was watching her.

It's just paranoia from being in this wacky town she thought, and moved along on her merry way

Well, as merry as you can be when you're Fang.

Soon, a man came up to her, and began to speak to her in Hylian.
Fang stared at him blankly, not sure what he was talking about

Meanwhile, another man was eyeing her, getting closer...

Still, she looked at the first man, speaking a foreign tongue to her, completely oblivious.

Gale went into a shack, keeping a low profile as he kept an eye on Fang.

What is she doing? he thought.

Fang suddenly sensed it. Whirling, she had her dagger out and on the man faster than you could say 'Hyrule'

"Scream and I'll cut your tongue." she told the man that would have pick=pocketed her

Gale once again winced at her poor decision.
"Crap.." he said aloud, rushing outside, not too sure of what to do.

"Excuse me ma'am," he said tapping her shoulder, ready to dodge her dagger if the need be.

She glanced up

She studied him briefly and thoroughly, like she'd learned in the while.

Tall. Dark. Black hair. Handsome. Cloak. Pointed ears. Out of place clothes.

Like I'd know out of place... she thought

All of this passed in her mind in about 2.3 seconds, and she was back to holding the knife to the man's throat

"May I help you?" she said curtly

Gale struggled for words, not really sure what to say.
"Nevermind.." he said, deciding to let Fang deal with it herself.

Fang nodded. She stared at the would-be theif with feral eyes, sagacity creeping in to dance in her pupils.

"You listen, and you listen good," she said, her blade biting into his flesh, "If you ever, ever try to take something from me, or anyone ever again, I swear to you that I will hunt you down like the dog that you are, and personally rip your throat out, you worthless lump of pond scum. Now, you're gonna get up, turn around, and walk away. And if you don't I'll run you straight through and twist the blade around inside you. Do I make myself clear?!" she hissed

Gale bit his lip, unsure whether or not to take action.
"Hey..if you knew hat was good for you, you'd cool it..You're drawing attention." he said, and didn't wait for her to turn around to see who it was. He was invisible the second after he said it.

Fang stared as the man ran shrieking away.

She put the blade in her holster, resisting the urge to lick the blood that she had drawn off of it.

She brushed her skirt off, and headed down the street

The voice had startled her.
Great. Now I've got someone or something telling me what to do she thought As if I didn't stick out enough

She glanced up at a sign that read "Eastside Tavern"

Curiousity kicked in.
Curiousity killed the cat

Where had she heard that before

She smirked. Oh well. Fang wasn't a cat.

She stepped inside

Gale waited a moment before he walked in as well.

He sat at a booth near the back, hoping she didn't see him.

As soon as Fang walked in, she realized a few things

A) She had no idea what a tavern was

B) She had no idea what went on in said taverns

C) She had no idea what kind of people were in taverns, especially on the eastside of town

She was in for a suprise.

Gale sat silently in the corner, waving each waiter/waitress off as they by.

He watched Fang have a confused face, not knowing exactly what was going on.

She looked at what they had to offer

"Are ya buyin somethin, Missy?" the bar owner asked

She looked at the list of beverages, not recognizing a thing. Then she saw something she knew

Milk!

She ordered, and gave the man some coins

She happily took her cup to a booth and drank it.

She glanced at the label. 'Lon Lon Milk' it said. She shrugged. It was pretty good.

Thing was, she had no idea what Lon Lon Milk was.

Things would get interesting.

Gale gave a small chuckle, then he realized she had sat at the booth across from him: a ct spot for her to recognize him.

He took a menu and coveed his face with it, allowing room for his eyes to drift above it.

But Fang had drained her milk, as well as a few more, and was extremely at ease

She giggled and hiccuped.
"Thaat wasss gooood milkk." she slurred.

Gale shook head.
"Ohh boy.." he said.

She obviously didn't know that the Lon Lon in the Milk was

Giggling at nothing in particular, she stood to her feet, wobbled, and fell back down on her chair.

"Ooopssiee daaisyy." she said, with a giggle

"Oh my.." Gale said, shaking his head.

"Woou like some help home madam?" he asked Fang, once he'd stood.

She won't rememebr me helping her anyway.. He though, seeing what her condition was.

She shook her head to clear it

"Ohh, hi." she said, smiling.

She giggled
"Ooookkkay.." she said, trying to stand again
