Math Class - Ms. Downs

Ms. Downs, sitting comfortably behind her desk, waited for the students to file in for yet another year of math.

Saraia took a seat nearthe back, keeping a seat saved for Kiara and Kadomi.

Alena sat in the seat before Saraia, waiting on to arrive.

Kadomi and Kiara sat on either side of Saraia. They'd all hit it off pretty well

Kiara kept the other side of her open for Leru

Vaati stayed in his corner, swalloing a groan when Keahi sat beside him

Aqua found Alena and plopped down beside her, Airas on Alena's other side.

Link and Zelda sat together in front of Alena

"fine no ne save seats for me ne more' colby said then went to the back of the room and sat "i shall sittith here and contemplate thy thoughts"

Brittany sat up front some where with this being her favroite class and all

Kadomi shook her head and grinned at Colby

"You're an odd bird." she siad

All the students had filed in, including Violet and her possey as well.

Ms. Downs walked to the front of the classroom as the bell rang and straightened her skirt.
"Hello class." she said turning to the white board." I am Ms. Downs." she said writing her name in plain sight of everyone.

"I hope we have a good time this year together." she said blandly,looking at her lesson plans for the day.

" I will ive you an outlook of what we will be able to do at the end of this year." she said writing a very complex equation on the board, which almost all the class did not undernd at all.

Vaati smiled

"This'll be one easy year."

Kiara brightened as well. "Ohh, ok." she said

Zelda understood it, as well, and shockinling enough, so did Kadomi

Brittany looked up at the board she knew most of it but some she haden't learned about yet but hey thats what school is for

well thisll b a breeze colby thought to himself

Ms. Downs looked back from the black board.
"Ok, does anyone know the correct answer to this equation?" she asked as Laurie opened the door and stared at the board for a few moments.

"Oh hello, please take a seat." Ms. Downs said.

Laurie headed to the seat nearest the back scould manage, which only led to the seat beside Link.

colby bgan to snooze off

Link sighed. "Well, I'll get it..eventuall" he said, stumped three fourths of the way through the problem

Vaati waited for Keahi to try to take the answer from him

He quickly raised his hand to give the answer before that could happen

then colby awoke '-73.223785' he shouted out

Keahi turned aroundto Vaati, already havingand raised.
"Nerd.." he muttered.

Vaati ignored that, raising his hand higher

[lol please let this be right so keahi can pick on him more ^^]

Ms. Downs shook her head.
"I'm sorry, that's the incorrect answer, Colby. Vaati?"

'huh oh i was asleep sorry just an outburst wont happen again'

Vaati spoke softly and calmly

"The answer, I belive, is 26."

"Yes, Vaati, that is the correct answer." Ms. Downs said smiling.

"Nerd!" Keahi and his friends muttered

'nvm' colby said then was asleep again

Vaati smiled haughtily, challenging them with his eyes.

"Thank you, Ms Downs' he said

"You're a very bright student, Vaati. You'll get far in life." she said encouragingly.

"As for you boys," she said referring to Keahi and the others,"you won't get anywhere near as good as what Vaati will get if you keep that attitude up."


Laurie sighed inwardly.

Ms. Downs wrote yet another difficult equation on the board.
"Anyone know this one?" she asked, the equation being even harder.

Kiara looked at Vaati with admiring eyes, smiling widely. He timidly smiled back

Kadomi studied the problem.

To everyone's suprise, she raised her hand.

Laurie, also, had risen her hand.

"Ahh, two people. Well, lets have at it. Won't of you come up to the board and solve the equation." she said.

Laurie from her seat silently, walking up to the board with quiet steps.

"Take it away, I got the next one." Kadomi said, leaning back.
