Science Class - 1st Period

Professor Leif rapped on his desk for attention. He was a Skullkid, and so he wore a crazy looking mask, and had a fairy, named Spry. Spry kept Leif on track

"Welcome to Science/Chemistry." Leif said.

"oh whats up professor leif" colby shouted out

Leif waved.

"Today, class, we are going to exlpore the complex chemical reaction that is..."

He dug around in his desk

"COKE AND MENTOS!! WOOOOO!"

"u are a looney arent u" colby said "so what we gonna do now, go outside and make rockets"

Leif scoffed

"No, of course not. We're doing it in here."

"It'll make a big mess though..."Airas said

"And that's what the janitors are paid for'' Leif replied

"wont the ceiling kinda stop the thing from goin high or u possibly put a hole in it"

Leif looked at him like he was stupid.

"Duh. That's the best part." he said, opening up the coke bottle.

coughtardcough gosh had somethin caught in my throat" colby said then looked around hte room for the other students seein who else he knew was in here

Kadomi was in the back, hardly paying attention, Airas was looking at Leif with a shocked face.

Link and Zelda exchanged worried glances

Aqua, seated somewhere in the middle, said nothing.

Kiara, pushing her glasses up her nose, gawked at their crazy teacher, and Vaati , in the back corner shook his head.

"soo...when we gonna start professor" colby asked then started talkin with kadomi who sat beside him "so u takin this class all year or just first semester or somethin"

"Dunno. Whenever I guess." she said coolly, watching their zany teacher drop the Mentos into the coke

A stream of soda foam shot up into the ceiling.

'great......" colby said lookin at the coke that flew onto his shirt he had just bought "i jsut bought this....oh well......."

Leif laughed.

"Yes! THIS is why I got a teaching degree!!"

"Now...can anyone tell me why it did that?"

"ummm...reaction"

"Yes, but why?"

"erm........cuz irt can umm...."

Leif rolled his eyes.

"Anyone else?"

"hey i got a question...could u tell me why i got coke all over me and i am now sortah sticky and my shirt is wet"

Kiara raised her hand.

"Water molecules strongly attract each other, linking together to form a tight connection around each bubble of carbon dioxide gas in the soda. To form a new bubble, water molecules must push away from one another. It takes extra energy to break this surface tension. So, in other words, water resists the expansion of bubbles in the soda. The Mint-Flavored Mentos have tiny air holes that compress the carbon dioxide from the diet coke, causing an eruption to occur."

"BINGO!!!" Leif said.

He looked at Colby.
"Because you were in the way."

"no im in the back of the class its cuz our teacher is a tard that blew up a diet coke in a classroom"

Leif rolled his eyes.

"Oh well. You'll get over it." he said.

"Now, about those Mentos."

"ok ur right so whats next"

"I want ya'll to go home and make your own Mentos-Coke volcano, and report your observations."

'is it extra credit?"

The fairy, Spry, popped up.

"No, it's do it or you fail the assignment."

Vaati, in the back, could not believe this was their homework.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me..." he said.
