History - 4th Period

Lawrence Landry was nervous. It was his first day teaching, and a very pretty teacher was also scheduled to have lunch with him.

He was mainly worried that the kids wouldn't like him.

The bell rang, and the kids took they're seat

This time, Link and Zelda sat next to each other in front of Vaati and Kiara, and Kadomi sat between Aqua and Kiara. Airas sat by Aqua and the window.

"well i guess ill sit by sylom up front" colby said tehn sat down

"Um...hi, class...I'm Mr. Landry...this is Hyrulean History..."

"If you would, please open your books to the first chapter "The Legend of Zelda and the Ocarina of Time."

"whoa......forgot my book in my locker can i run and get it real fast mr.landry"

"Uh...Um, I guess so...." he said.

"ok thanx" then colby ran out of class and got his book then came back "ok ready" he said and opened up his book

"Ok. This was the era when the Hero of Time was awakened. His name was Link. The legend begins in the Kokiri Forest."

He looked up.
"Do we have any Kokiri in here?"

Five hands shot up, Airas's among them.

"hmm..i gues they were named after those ppl" colby said eyeing link and zelda

Zelda smiled.

"Yes we were. We're their descendents." she said

"So," Mr. Landry continued "It all started when a Hylian woman stumbled into the Forest and found the Guardian of the Forest, the Great Deku Tree. She laid her baby at the foot of the tree, asked that he protect it, and then died."

colby started laughin outloud "oh srrry" he siad then went back to the book

All eyes looked at him.

"What are you laughing because she died? You're sick!" someone in the back said.

Mr. Landry frowned.
"Care to see what's so funny?"

"no its not that u should have seen the pic in my mind" colby said

"What was so funny about it?" the teacher asked

"no i was thinkin bout yesterday at the coffee shop and stuff but i guess it was bad timin so ne way back tot he book"

Mr. Landry looked back down at the book.

"Well...the boy's name was Link. As he grew, he noticed he was different, as the Kokiri all had fairies and he did not. One day, a dark creature entered the Great Deku Tree trying to find the Spiritual Stone of the Forest, the Kokiri's Emerald, and so he sent Navi the Fairy to find Link, as he knew it was his destiny to become the Hero of Time..."

colby jsut sat tehrer readin along

"So Navi brought ten year old Link to the Tree, and he entered in and defeated the armored parastie, Gohma. The Great Deku tree told him the Legend of Ganondorf, the evil Gerudo king, and gave him instructions to carry the Spiritual Stone to the Princess Zelda to protect it from him.

The Great Deku Tree then died.

So, Link set off with Navi to leave the forest, but before he did, his best fried, Saria gave him the Fairy Ocarina and told him to remember her. He promised, and bid her farewell, leaving the Forest where he'd grown up..."

"gosh this is gonna b long class" colby thought to himself

(oh yeah...cuz Ocarina of Time's a freakin long game)

"Well...I'll stop there, because it's your first day. I want to get to know you all better..." he said

"ok thank god" colby thought to himself "he stopped reading"

Mr. Landry lowered his eyes, embarrassed.

"Sorry if it was that bad..." he said.

"So, um...could you all tell me your names?"

"im colby saw yall in the coffe shop yesterday" he shouted out "and this is sylom since he is asleep but oh well"

Mr. Landry laughed.

"Yes, I see that."

"I'm Airas, and that's Aqua." she said, jerking her thumb toward the Zora

Kadomi's hand flew up "I'm Kadomi. I'm a Gerudo like the evil king in the history lesson."

"My name's Kiara..."

"And what's your name?" he asked Vaati.

"...Vaati." he said simply

"I'm Link and this is Zelda'' He said, smiling

"welll thats it i think besides that other kid int he corner he is weird though" every one looked back tehre and there was a kid that was crosseyed picking his nose adn lookin up at teh ceiling

"Erm..." was all that Mr. Landry could say
