looking around town

Rokii was going rooftop to rooftop exploring the town. She knew she didn't have much money and she might have to steal her next few meals, so she was looking for good food markets.

Kitsune was looking through various stores and shops looking for something interesting to buy. He was mildly rich having just completed his last big banishment.

Goddesses help Hyrule.

Autumn Carlisle and Pen Atraz had, by some cruel twist of Fate, befriended one another.

Only chaos could ensue.

The pair was currenly evaluating the value of squash as an accurate projectile, and having a heated debate about it.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Autumn exclaimed, "A squash? It's not even in the least bit aerodynamic! Your accuracy would be zilch!"

"No, you see, that's what you'd think would happen," Pen protested, holding the food in question in her hand, "But I think they'd go into this mad spiral that locked them in a straight line. No way you can miss your target if you launch it just right."

"I still say your theory's bogus." Autumn said flatly.

"Bet you ten rupees?"

"You're on."

Rokii spied Kitsune and noticed the money pouch at his waist. She slipped her mask over her mouthe and nose and quietly slunk down into an alleyway and quietly persued Kitsune.

Pen rubbed her hands together. "Might as well bid your money farewell." she said.

Autumn cocked an eyebrow. "We'll see about that. First of all, though, we'll need a squash. And a catapult."

Pen waved Autumn's observations away. "Details, details. Mere technicalties."

Autumn's eyebrow remained arched. "Uh-huh. Less technicalities; more constant variables in an equation."

Pen sighed, "That's the problem with you, Autumn. Too scientific."

"Your own scientific deficiency is just as problematic."

Rokii snuck up close to Kitsune and slowly began untieing the money sack on his waist.

Pen began to walk backwards.

"What you need to do, my dear Autumn, is think less with this..." she said, pointing to her head. "And more with this."

She motioned to her heart, and continued to step backwards. "You see, Autumn, you're too calculating. You need to trust instincts, follow your first gut feeling, live a little. You'd be surprised how well never really thinking anything through has served me--augh!"

Autumn stifled a giggle as Pen slammed into an unsuspecting Rokii. "...What was that you were telling me about not using your head?"

Rokii managed to not fall into the unaware Kitsune, but lost the pouch. She got up and turned to Pen. "Watch it!" she snapped.

Pen laughed, "So sorry. I beg pardon."

Rokii forced herself to calm down. "It's ok," she managed after a deep breath.

Pen hopped to her feet. "Do you have a squash I might borrow?"

"When she says borrow, she means decimate." Autumn pointed out.

"ummm," she said digging around in her bag. "Yea, here's one," Rokii said handing it to pen.

Pen grinned. "Well that was unexpected. Alright, Autumn, off to your lair, where we can find catapults, I hope."

"Ummm, ok. Well I'l be off now," Rokii said turning to leave.

[Sorry for being away so long]

"Hold it right there!," Kitsune unexpectedly said at the retreating Rokii.

"You really thought I did not know what you were trying to do?" he added, still not turning.

Kit raised his arms to about chest level, preformed a flurry of highspeed hand signs, and all of the loose coins, which had spilled, flew into his money pouch.

[Turning] "Well, next time I'd be a little more light-footed," he continued, "I could hear your footsteps a block away, *fox ears emerge in his unkept hair*"

Autumn blinked. "...I'll never get used to all this confounded magic."

Pen shrugged. "I think it's rather interesting."


"You would."

"Ehehe," Rokii said. She turned and darted into the crowd.

"Hum... Why do they always run..." Kit groaned as he preformed a different combo of hand signs.

Suddenly, hundreds of Kits appeared, "Let's go," they chorused as they started the chase for Rokii.

One stayed behind, the actual Kit.

"So why do you need a squash?" He asked of Pen and Autumn.

Pen scoffed. "She thinks they're not good projectiles."

"Accuracy would be off." Autumn pointed out.

Pen shrugged. "Phh. We'll see."

"Mind if I tag along? The rest of me will follow shortly," he continued.

"Also, it would probably depend a lot on what type of squash you use... A Pumpkin is technically a squash."

"This one." Pen said, holding up the bent squash thing they'd gotten hold of.

Kit observed the squash, "Well it kind of looks like a missle with that huge butt at the bottom *points*"

"It might be decent..." he added

Autumn shrugged coolly. "Whatever. I still say that it'll be unreliable."

Rokii was running as fast as she could. She made a few hand signs and there were four of her. The real one ducked into an alleyway.

[Rokii can do hand signs too lol?]

"huh, that's odd, never met anyone that could do hand signs," the hundreds of Kits chorused, "Alright, everyone split up and search, and capture the other Rokii's!"
