journey through town

kayu was jumping from building to building in the castle town. climbing up walls, jumping from wooden beams to fences.

the castle guard was close on his tail, they were following the streets, one special guard attempted to keep up with kayu on the building tops


kayu soon lost the guards that were runnging through the roads, but couldnt shake this one guard

All of a sudden the guard howled with pain as a black wolf latched onto his leg.

[gee.. i wonder who that is lol]

kayu turned around and threw a knife, sending it through the guards neck

then kayu walked there to that building that the body and moonlight were on

Moonlight licked the fresh blood off his maw and returned to human form.

"Well thats one guard who won't see his family anymore."

"yea...oh well" kayu said and he kicked the guard off of the building sending his body into a pile of hay below

people screamed, kayu looked down then over to moonlight

"lets go" he said then jumped to the next building

{is this when moonlight and kayu bond? lol}

[i suppose lol you want the insults to start coming or something?]

"I suppose we should before more guards get here"

Moonlight jumped after Kayu eventually matching pace.

{nah lol}

kayu hopped ontop of the cathedral and started to climb up it to the tower up top to get a view of the city

[very assassin's creed of you lol]

"So why were those guards chasing you this time?" Moonlight asked with a hint of knowing something.

{Yea lol}

kayu sat down on the tower and looked over the city

he simply ignored the question

"Well fine then.." Moonlight said.

He started to drop off the tower but grabbed a near by pole and swung himself ontop.

Then he jumped to another building and ran down the length.

He jumped to a flagpole sticking out the back of the cahtedral and swung himself up to the next higher up one. [like in the Prince of Persia games]

He kept doing this until he reached the otherside of the tower that Kayu was on and flung himself right behind him without making a sound as he landed.

"So why are you being so secretive ever since I last saw you by that mountain," Moonlight asked.

[He did all this without being seen btw lol]

{umm ok lol}

kayu again ignored him and continued to look at the town "nice eh?"

"Yea whatever, lots of meatbags, anyway, since you won't answer me," Moonlight began as he went to the edge again.

"Then maybe I should see whats up that mountain," and Moonlight jumped off the ledge, with some onlookers screaming in terror of his death.

He pulled out his dagger [with chain attached] and threw it at a beam sticking out the side of a building, however it just nicked it and did not latch on.

Crap he thought as he grabbed his other dagger and threw that at the beam, wrapping the chain around the beam and using it as a grappling hook.

Well that wasn't very graceful he thought as he continued his way toward the gate.

"hmmph" kayu siad and jumped off the building spreading his arms like wings doing a front flip landing into hay and then geting out and running up a wall onto a building

As he swung from beam to beam [like spiderman lol] he got the feeling he was being followed...

As we was about to throw his dagger to the next beam, he looked into the reflective metal and saw Kayu running from building to building behind him.

I knew this would work Moonlight thought as he tossed the dagger to a pole and swung onto the building infront of Kayu.

kayu jumped to that building then stopped in front of moonlight "wait"

"Yeeeeeeessss?" Moonlight teased smirking.

kayu kicked him off of the building, he knew there was a pile of hay so no worries

he hopped down beside the hay pile beside moonlight and helped him out

{dont fight me i gottah say somethin lol}

[Moonlight would have latched onto some beam while falling lol but w/e i guess you can have this one]

"Well, you must want to tell me something, otherwise i don't see why you would follow me." He said getting up.

kayu looked up, there was an arrow stabbed into the wall above them, that was meant for moonlight

"we gottah be careful on the roofs now....they put guards up" kayu said as he looked up on some points and saw guards

Moonlight smelled the air, trying to pinpoint how many andwhere they were.

"I count atleast a dozen in this general area."

"Should we stick to alleyways then?"

"yea, alleyways...or.." kayu said and spun around launching a knife up at a guard, the guard let out a muffled cry and fell of the building splattereing on the ground

people screamed and panicked

"ok lets not do that, alleyways it is" kayui said and began to walk

Moonlight listened carefully for any hint of danger.

In a nearby store a child picked up a whistle and blew into it.

Moonlight suddenly heard a very high pitched whistling sound and held his hands over his ears cursing,

"Crap, what the #*$@ was that noise," he said as he fell to his knees, cringing with pain.

Seeing the kid, Moonlight took some chain, and threw it at the whistle, shattering it. He quickly reeled in the chain as the mother started yelling at the kid for breaking the whistle.

"that was mean" kayu laughed and helped him up "come on we gottah get outah here" kayu said

he turned and looked at the guards who were staring at the 2

"I see what you mean," Moonlight replied as he spotted the guards.

"Where should we go to hide?"
