Airas smiled. "Nah. Just have different talents is all." she said sincerely. "Variety is the spice of life."

Scy mocked disgust. "Yech. Sounds like something the Princess would say..." She grinned.

Airas smiled, "I guess you're right...that a bad thing?"

"Not really...just commenting." She loaded a pebble into her sling and waited for someting interesting to come into range.

She wouldn't have long to wait.

"I mostly tended gardens and ran errands in the Forest," she continued.

"I pretty much...lived. Until I left...But that was so long ago." She bit her cheek and let the stone fly.

She was rewarded with a high-pitched yipping. ~OWOWOWOWOWWWW What was tha' for, eh?~

Airas's little green head shot up, "Scy! You hit something...someone."

Kael sat on Scy's shoulder. It came from thataways.

Scy blinked in the general direction. "I don't see anything...just a funny grey rock that's biting itself..."

The 'rock' snarled at the wagon as it passed. ~Who did tha'? Come on, now. Who did et?~

Scy coughed. "Erm...sorry, there. My fault."

Airas winced, "She really didn't mean to!" she said, eyes distraught. "Honest she didn't!"

The furry rock nipped at the sore spot, muttering to herself. ~Firs' th' angry bloody pulp, an' now you...Can' a jackal get some peace?~

Airas looked at strangely, "...What do you mean...?" she ventured.

The jackal looked up, blinking. ~Th' angry one. All cut up an' nasty like. She wasn't in the mood to talk much, so I showed her where she wanted to go an' left.~

Airas was skeptical...

"...What...what did she look like?" she said, trying not to get her hopes up too high...it probably wasn't Kadomi...

"Cut up and nasty, huh?" Alena peeked her head out behind Scy, sitting up on her knees.

'Thats gotta be her..' she thought.

She sat on her haunches. ~Are ye gonna make me spell it ou' for ye? Red hair, green eyes, snappy attitu'e. Your typica' ticked-off human, if'n ye ask me...~

Scy glanced at Airas. "You don't think--"

Airas, desperate now, lurched forward, "Where did she go? Tell me where she went!" she pleaded.

Alena remained silent, waiting for a response.

"Yupp. That the no-good Gerudo..typical.." Keahi mumbled.

Aqua looked thoughtfully at Keahi. "...What was her motive?" she asked aloud.

She flicked an ear, scratching halfheartedly at her sore. ~Why do ye need t'know so much, eh? What do I get out of it?~

Scypher frowned, loading a small, hard seed into her slingshot. "You don't get pegged again, that's what you get."

Airas made her best 'intimidating' face.

"Tell me where she went."

She grinned toothily. ~An' if'n I don'?~

"I can match the bump on your rump, you know," Scy said conversationally.

~Meh...alright, fine. Have it you' way.~ She stretched languidly, taking her time. ~Head thataway, you'll spot a big ol' house. Ifn' the attack thing don' get ya, consider yeself lucky.~

Airas bounded into the further extremeties of the cart, then pulled a U-turn and yelped a hasty, "Thank you" to Jazza.

She then scrambled toward the Princess. "Zelda! Zelda! We know where Kadomi is!"

Scy sat up and dusted herself off, after being trampled by the rampaging Kokiri. When she looked back up, she squeaked in alarm.

Jazza grinned, still jackal-formed in the rear of the wagon. ~Mind if'n I tag along??~

Zelda's ears pricked "What did you say, Airas?"

"Kadomi! We know where she is because a nice dog told us!"

Link and Zelda exchanged puzzled glances

Jazz could've died right there. But she didn't.
'Cause she was insulted.
~Nice dog!?~ She changed to her human form and growled. "Ah am not. A. Flea. Bitten. Mangy. Mongrel. Mah name is Jazza, thankye very much."
