Outside the Temple of Time, there's a graveyard that's tended by Fang

There's a shack out back where she...takes care of the dead, and an office where Laurie deals with the clients who are still alive and kicking.

Laurie grabbed a few coins at the counter.
"Well..I'll get some supplies. This place needs all the help it can get." she said starting out the door.

kayu was walkin backwards counting the tombstones and he ran into her "oh srry laurie"

'Oh, that's ok, I was just heading to town for supplies. Tala's in the shack if you want to visit." she siad.

Fang nodded

After Laurie left, she began to think.

Laurie said that a plant makes it look...'cool'...

Going outside, she began to look around for a plant. She smiled
"Ah-ha!"

Ten minutes later, she was hauling a lopsided sapling into the office, getting dirt all over the floor. She leaned it in the corner.

"There." she said, admiring her handiwork

"what are u doing" kayu asked. he was standing in the doorway

"Making it look cool." she said, trying to make the too-tall tree bend to fit the office.

[Poor, confused Fang.]

[yeah lol]

"maybe u should try a better plant and erm try putting it in a pot or someting and u may want to tsweep the dirt out of here"

Fang stared at him blankly

"...Pot? Sweep?"

She wa offended that he thought her plant wasn't good enough

Hmph she thought Laurie'll like it

Laurie continued her way into town, headed to the hardware shop for wood and such.

Fang looked at the tree.

"Well, I like it, and it's staying." she said

Now all she had to do was let Kayu see how much Laurie like it too.

[of course, she really won't...heh]

"erm ok fine leave it well see l8er..in the meantime need ne help with ne thing?"

Fang looked around at the dirt on the floor, the leaves everywhere.

"Nope. It's perfect in here."

The leaves and dirt made it more homey, of course.

"well nething u need help with"

Laurie walked into the shop, acting as though she had acttually done this before. She bout what seemed to be a kit for making a desk, and a hammer..or two.

She walked across the street to a plant nursery and bought a small pot and a fern.

"well need ne help" kayu asked

Fang sighed and smiled.

"Hmm..." she said, walking outside. "I think we want people to be comfortable in the office..." she thought

She found something, and she smirked "Bingo."

She went back inside, hauling a basket full of dead rats, setting them on the desk

"What could make you feel more at home than free food.?"

Laurie went across the street to the bakery and got small mints and set them into a clay bowl.
"This should do nicely." she siad, heading back to work.

Fang was very happy with all she'd done for Laurie

She had better appreciate it she thought, pulling up a stool and waiting for Laurie

It was sort of the only nice think she'd ever done for anyone

Laurie walked up, and saw a trail of dirt leading into the building.

She walked in and stared in awe at what happened.

A tree was sitting in the corner, rats were on the table, and leaves and dirt were everywhere.

Fang tried out her best smile

"Look what I did." she said, a slight quiver of pride in her tone

"There's a plant to make it look cool! And free food!" she said, offering Laurie a rat

"And leaves and dirt to make it more homey."

"Yeeeah..I really appreciate the help.."she said pushing the rat away," But I had a little something different in mind.." she said showing her all she got.

Fang frowned.

"What's all that stuff?" eyeing what she thought was worthless crap

She scowled.
"You don't like it." she said "I finally try to help and you don't like it."

"No, no. I really do like it. But..other people, the humans, this stuff isn't good to them, and isn't very appealing. To them, that is." she explained.

Fang frowned.

"Humans are stupid creatures, then." she said
