Tara nodded again. "Awesome. Um... I'll let you get settled in, then, and we'll drop by later, okay??"

"Sounds great. Thanks again." he smiled.

"Will do!" And she was off, eager to catch up with Cicero before she'd gotten too far.

Glen grinned after her, shaking his head, "Friendly, the people here..."

Tara caught Cis by the arm as she was halfway home. "Heyyy, wait up!"

"What? What's wrong?" Turning around? Cicero frowned worriedly. "Why are you so excited?" Not that Tara being excited was generally bad, but... well, you never knew with Tara.

"That guy that just moved in? Yeah, I'm helping him get settled in and whatnot, and I was wondering if you wanted to come."

Cis blinked, wondeirng how Tara managed to dash up to her and say all that in one breath. "Well, I don't know..."

"Great! I was hoping you'd agree!"

Glen began putting boxes in the main foyer. He shifted, uncomfortable in the enormous house. So different from his cottage...

Glen hauled in a few more boxes.

"B-but...!!"

Tara dragged Cis by the hand as Boof trotted ahead, tail held high. "Oh, get over it! It's not like he's going to attack you, or anything! He's just a guy!"

"That's my point!!"

Glen went back into the yard for more boxes, spotting the girls. He waved, smiling.

Tara grinned. "See? He's a nice guy."

"But he's a guy. Key word. Guy. Which is a no-no in my book." Cis put on a brave face, swallowing. "C'mere, Boof."

Glen hauled a box up, smiling. "You really didn't have to do this." he said.

The expression in Cis's eyes were clear. Oh, I know that. But she put on a smile, letting Tara chat away.

"Oh, it's nothing, really! I mean, what kind of people would we be if we didn't help our neighbors, hm? Like, just the other day..."

Glen grinned, politely listening, but wondering if she were always like this...

"What? Oh, no they won't..."

Glen shook his head, smiling. "It's alright. I don't have company very often. And I'm okay with just listening."

He set a few more boxes inside the door.
