The Character Lounge

I'm fine, Fell confirmed. Just getting rid of a cold. Iko had fun with us over summer break. Catching sight of Glen, she blinked her beady eyes. Whozat?

Door led Alex to the Zora. "Uh, Elue, this is Alex. Alex, this is Elue."

Tearing her eyes away from Fell, the little fish blinked once before breaking into a huge smile. "Hi, Alex! Door's told me's a lots about you. Lotses."

Glen shuffled his feet.

Alex waved at the spastic Zora. "Oh, nice to meet you...what has she said about me?" he laughed.

Elue wrinkled her brow, thinking. "Well, she said that you were really goods at the piano and that you hads gorgeous eyes and thats--"

Door dragged Alex away. "Thank you, Elue. That's enough."

Fell, ever the amiable one, padded up to Glen and blinked up at him. Well, hi there.

Glen looked surprised. And frightened.

He glanced around. Was anyone here a ventrioloquist? Still, it would be rude to ignore...

"Umm, hello."

Alex laughed, eyeing Door. "Kids. They say the darndest things."

Door grinned, blushing across her nose. "Yeah. Cute, isn't she?" Walking outside, she found Mika with a trio of characters circled around her.

"--And whatever you do, do NOT poke Tha-- Oh, hey, Door. Alex." Mika waved cheerfully. "Come meet the new guys."

Door smiled nervously. "Alex," she began, pointing at each, "this is Piedro, Ari, and Megan."

Fell blinked again. Quiet, aren't ya--kshick! Noes!! Not again!

Elue grinned and laughed at Fell, who flopped around on the floor like the fish she was. Squirming out of Aqua's arms, she dashed to the kitchen, returning with a glass full of water. "Here you goes," she giggled, dropping the black-and-white striped fish headfirst into the water.

...This is so undignified, Fell muttered.

Glen blinked again. "Are you...alright?" he asked, picking up the glass. He carefully carried it to the kitchen in search of a proper bowl. "Um, what's your name?"

Alex waved, smiling. "Hello. Nice to meet you."

Jetta (apparently not sprained in this topic...loldunno) shut the front door behind her and sipped her punch. She glanced up at the new faces.

Aqua followed Elue, intent on keeping her out of trouble.

So embarrassing, she muttered to herself. Uh, yeah. I'm Fell. Nice to meet you...kinda. I don't always look like this, she added hastily. I'm just... sick.

"So... I think that's everything," Mika announced. "I'll leave you guys to wreak havoc. Have fun." Aaaand away she went.

Megan blinked.
Ari blinked.
Piedro... blinked.

Glen smiled. "...What's your normal form? Is this a cold for you or something? Contagious? Will I turn into a badger?"

Jetta blinked at them all. "Hello there." she said simply.

Aqua silently watched Elue for any signs of danger.

Gerudo, Fell muttered, bumping against the sides of the glass. Well, kinda. And kinda not. And no, it's not contagious. Just for me. Somehow, she managed to smile a fishy smile. Aren't you the lucky one...

Elue stood on tiptoes to grab a little container off a shelf, then toddled back to Glen and Fell. "Here you goes," she giggled, unscrewing the top and sprinkling the contents into Fell's glass. "Eat ups!"

Not funny, kid, Fell growled, blowing bubbles.

Megan inspected each of them in turn. But still, no one had even heard of Ethan...

Sighing, she turned and exited, walking down the sidewalk.

Door blinked. "Uhm... okay."

Aqua picked little Elue up again, setting her on her shoulders.

"Stay." she said simply.

Glen blinked from Fell to the Zoras, then back to Fell. "I see." he smiled. "I guess I am lucky, then. Do you know when you'll change back?"

Jetta pulled Mika aside. "Flit's not coming, right? Please tell me Flit's not coming."

Fish Fell frowned, a fancy feat. (XD) No idea. Any moment now, maybe. Or it could take hours. Not really sure.

Elue giggled. "I'm highers than you, Fell!"

Mika gaped. "You're in my bubble, Jetta. Personal space, really." Removing herself from the blonde's grip, she blinked. "And he isn't here yet? He flew off the bus like there was no tomorrow..."

Aqua didn't smile. But she did blink. Twice.

Glen blinked at Fell, "Ohh, I see. Hm...well, maybe I'll still be here and I can meet you in...person?" he grinned.

Jetta's eyes flitted around. [[Really, your characters are all too easy to make puns out of.]]

"I don't see him...frightening, that."

Mika nodded. "Quite. Lucky for me, he can't touch me. Doing so would consequently destroy everything I've created, including him." SHe grinned. "Yay, me."

In person? Cute. Fell laughed, blowing a few more bubbles. And inhaling a fish flake that Elue had put into her glass.
Peh!

Glen grinned, mildly amused. "Tasty?"

Jetta frowned. "Well, good for you. Some of us have to deal with him when there are no consequences to discourage him from making our days miserable."

No. She blinked, then sneezed. Oh, crap. Glen, buddy, I'd put the glass down post-haste, she warned. And get clear. Better yet, just dump the glass out. Less shrapnel!!

Mika nodded sagely. (Yeah... no.) "Wish I could help. I really do. But I can't. So I've gotta go... to that place. With the people and the critters, and... yeah."

Jetta sighed, watching Mika skuttle away. "Am I really that unlikeable?" she asked, grinning.

Glen blinked but did what he was told. Alarmed, he saw Aqua knowingly step back a few feet. So he did likewise.

Fish Fell flopped on the floor (I really need to stop), waiting for the inevitable.

But it didn't come.

Seriously? False alarm? Oh, come ON! I make the guy dump me on the floor, them nothing happens? How long is this humility going to la--ksheeick!

She changed mid-rant, ending up on her back. "Ouch."

Elue giggled and clapped her hands. "Fell's back!!"

"Really?" Raising her head, she poked at herself. "Two arms, two legs, sore head. Hm. Whadda ya know..."

"Yes," Flit answered, standing directly behind Jetta. "Yes, you really are."

Jetta's little scream and jump and whip-around was priceless.

"Flit! Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack."

Glen held out a hand. "Well, nice to finally see you."

"Urgh," Fell winced, shaking her head as she shook Glen's hand. "Likewise. I'd look happier to see you, but I've got the biggest headache..."

"I try." Helping himself to the punch, he leaned against the table. "So, how's kicks?"

Glen bit his lip. "Well, um...do you need to lay down?"

Jetta shrugged. "Alright, I suppose. I got dragged here by Mallorie, and then she left. Yourself?"

Fell grinned and shook her head. "Nah. Prolly wouldn't do any good." She stood, dusting herself off. "Ick. Fish aren't fun. I really should respect them more, but I don't." She shot a grin at the Zora. "No offense, you two."

"More of the same. Except with Mika." He shrugged. "Anything developing what with the plots an' all?"

Jetta shrugged. "You could say that. I mean, we busted them up but good. Door about cried a river."

Aqua shook her head. No offense taken.

Fell shook her head at Aqua, then turned to Glen. "So. What's your story? What freaky powers has Mallorie given you to terrorize the world with?"

Flit frowned. "I missed it. Bummer."

"Indeed."

"Umm, none to speak of..." Glen said.

Silence.

"...Really?" Fell blinked incredulously. "Like, seriously?"

And then--

"MA-AAAL! How could you do this to the poor guy!? Dumping him with the rest of us freaks? How cold is your heart??"
