Going Where One Doesn't Belong

Airas winced as someone large stepped on her rather small Kokiri foot.

She didn't like this place one bit, but it had been the unanimous decision that she would have to scout out and report on Link and Zelda's whereabouts

Vash stumbled around, half drunk half passed out, he looked kinda weird in his red coat.
He suddenly fell and hit Airas.

Airas cried out as the man fell on top of her.

"Hey now!" she said, trying to rouse the drunk, "I'm not your pillow."

Vash tried tried to get up, but he was to drunk, he was only mumbling stuff that is very hard to hear.
" wht, oh sry i didtnt sea ou"

translation: " what, oh sorry didn't see you"

Airas sighed.

Why had SHE, of all the Sages, had to come...

1) Kiara would be too conspicuous with the white hair and red eyes and gothic clothes

2) Kadomi was Gerudo. End of discussion

3) Keahi was a Goron...he would stick out WAAAAY to much.

4) Alena was busy trying to figure out their next course of action.

5) Aqua was missing.

6) Leru was missing.

So naturally, that left the little Kokiri girl.

"...Alright, stand up now." she said, trying t help the man to his feet.

" Thank you very muched" Vash said.

" But I wonder what are a sage doing at this end of town"

Vash managed with help from Airas to stand up.

She stiffened. How had he known.

"Hahaah," she laughed, "Silly man...all that Lon Lon milk must be making you imaging things.."

"yes... it must have" Vash said.

" oh well feeling much better"
" let me check if you are a sage *Poke* *poke*
nah i really dont know... hmmm " Vash started to think, oh well as she said to much milk"
"anyways, we shouldnt stay out here all day long lets at least walk a bit"

Airas sighed...she'd just been about to make a break for it too...

Turns out the Hero and Princess in question were in deep trouble...she'd been on her way OUT of the town to report...but now she couldn't get rid of him...

"Sure, a walk might clear you head." the little girl said.

Vash smiled.

"Ah i really love the castle town really nice place"

Vash started to sing, he have never been good in singing.

Airas resisted the urge to cover her ears.

"Yes, it's lovely...very different from my home..."

It was all she could do not to use her powers of emotion manipulation on him to make him so depressed he'd walk along silently

Vash noticed the look on her face, obviously she didnt like Vash's singing.

"Ah sorry I talk to much Im afraid ^^"

They stopped outside a shop.

"ah i have one thing to fix here it will not take long, if you want to leave, thats okay".

Vash stepped into the shop

Airas was tempted to run...but she was a gentle little girl with a sympathetic heart...

In the end, her caring nature won out, and she accompanied him into the store.

Someone had to make sure this crazy man didn't kill himself.

Vash stayed inside the shop for some minuttes.
Suddenly you could hear a BANNG!.
Vash came running out of the shop.


"RUN RUN RUN RUN!!"

Airas's heart sank to her toes.

"Oh Farore..." she mumbled. She dashed through the crowd and toward the drawbridge, "Come on, run you fool!" she called behind her to Vash

They ran and ran towards the drawbridge..

" oh lord, I only asked for a raise, I mean i've been working with 1 rupee per hour, thats WAY to low" he was pretty angry.

"well we better get out of here" Vash said dodging an arrow that nearly hit him in the back.

" woah... that is Way to close for comfort"

Airas huffed and puffed as she ran.

As soon as the made it outside the castle walls, she immediately turned on her heels and called forth giant vines to cut off the archers path.

Vash stood there amazed.

" SKILLZ!!!!"

" Wow that was fun" he laughed.
" now where should i head next hmm....."
He started to wonder

Airas stared at him like he was insane. [haha pun unintended]

He still seemed rather...hazy...after his drinks.

"Well, come with me, then," she offered, starting toward the Sage camp in Hyrule Field.

Vash accepted the offer and went with Airas.

" Meh nice sun, not really... i mean its starting to get dark".

" oh well nothing wrong with night exept for the skeletons sticking up".

Airas's eyes wideneed, "Sk-skeletons?!"

vash looked at airas with a scary look.

"Yes... didn't you know? skeletons roam around outside of Hyrule Castle Town when its dark, have you never been out here when its dark?"

"meh doesnt matter, the skeletons are weak and eay to slay".

The little girl squealed, "Eep! Then let's hurry, okay?" Airas said, leading him toward the fire in the distance.
