"Well, he can't just be pushed around like this." Kiara protested.

Vaati sighed. "Kiara, let me explain to you the circle of life. I'm the smart, weak kid. He's the bully. He beats me up. He has since we were little kids."

"We can stop it!" she insisted

"yeah without snitchin to....thats not the way to get im to stop'

Kiara narrowed her eyes.

"And further violence isn't the answer, either, Colby."

"well its the only thing thatl stop him and maybe u should tell that to him.....come on i know what im doin he is only alot bigger than me still but when has size mattered"

Kiara sighed.

"When has size mattered? Well, let's see...there's the small matter that his arm muscles are the size of my thigh." she said flatly "And also, two wrongs don't make a right, Colby."

'yeah but 2 lefts and a right can change the fight"

She rolled her eyes.

"Take the moral highroad, Colby. What would Pricipal Yumi say?"

She sighed. "But, if you must fight, I'll be in here, getting a mop for when he beats you to a pulp."

"ok..thanx for the encouragement....idk what he'll think but..."

Kiara walked toward the Pricipal's Office.

"Should we ask?"

"ummmm no why would we ask permission for a fight" colby shouted

"what fight?" yumi said coming from round the corner with a cup of coffee

Kiara led him into the nurse.

Vaati sighed, "Kiara, really, I'm fine."

"oh what happened to u" yumi asked

Kiara nodded.

"Go on, tell him."

"I was um, leaving school" Vaati said "And Keahi kind of...hit me a couple of times...nothing really..."

Kiara looked at his black eye, his bloody nose, and his busted lip.

"Nothing?" she said, pointing out various cuts on Vaati "You call all this nothing?"

"yeah stop the act i know ur hurtin kid...."

Vaati sighed.

Kiara crossed her arms.
"And Colby wants to go fight Keahi. Please tell him it's a bad idea."

"well......"

Kiara was shocked

"Principal Yumi! You can't seriously think that it's a good idea?"

"well its just like when i was a kid one of my friends got hurt so i took it in my own hands...and its not like i can stop him...they could fight ne where"

"yes" colby whispered tohimself

Kiara's jaw dropped

"But violence isn't the answer!" she said,holding fast in her moral stance

"thats waht they told me but hey not every body listens and yes sometimes its teh only thing that can stop somethin"

Kiara crossed her arms.

"There's harrassment charges." she said darkly "That's not violence."

Vaati half smiled and shook his head. "Kiara, you're blowing this way out of proportion."

Kiara looked thoughtful
"Well, you know what? I'm a good fighter, but I don't go around bullying people."

"well....nothin else i can do here" yumi said then walked inhis office


"well i dont bully ppl" colby said

"If you went to go fight Keahi without him attacking you first, you'd be bullying." Kiara said.


Vaati rolled his eyes. "Kiara, I'm fine. I'm not dead or hospitalized, so don't worry about it."

"no i dont pick on him every day though or nothin i tyr not to mess with him....im jsut getting back at him for vaati"
