Race: Skullkid

Personality: Leif is a skeptic. He does not open up to people very well, and clings to Kiara. He is very pretective of her, and though spooked easily, when driven into a corner, he will fight. He skulks about Hyrule; no one is sure of when he comes and goes, as he is stealthy. His little, dim guardian fairy, Spry, follows him around, giving him advice and acting as a conciounce, because sometimes, as shy as he is, Leif will pull practical jokes.

History: Leif was once a young Kokiri boy. He was a curious lad, and, as such, it seemed only natural that he go exploring. Until the day he wandered into the Lost Woods. Everyone knew the legend. Kokiri trapped in the Lost Woods for too long became Skullkids, a curse that was irreversible. And Leif met that fate. Driven to the brink of madness from hunger, thirst, and the wild panic that had gripped him as he slowly, but surely pas-sed the horrible change that made him naught but a faceless imp, Leif flew into a rage. Smashing trees and pulling up gr-a-ss, he cried out in anguish at the skies, begging to be spared. But the damage had been done. He stared long and hard at his new-found, wooden appendages. He cursed them with is beak of a mouth, and fell into a broken heap on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. His own guardian fairy faded, until it was a dull purple in hue, following him around because it had nothing better to do with its life. Soon, he found his way out of the woods, but, alas, he could never again be Kokiri. He wandered the country, collecting various items of interest, one being his magical flute. Another was a starnge mask, that he donned to cover his face, (or lack thereof, because not only did the curse take his race, but his face as well), and ventured to the town of Kakariko, where he met someone who was like him in so many ways....

Lives at: No one is 100% positive. He spends most of his time following Kiara around like a lost puppy. It's believed, however, that he once lived in the Lost Woods...

Powers: like all of his race, he has a musical instrument (in his case, a flute) that has the power to stun enemies long enough to escape. He is learning simple magic from Kiara.
