Apocalypse Here...

Link half-smiled, and fell silent for a moment.

"...I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it..." he said finally.

"That's better...I think the best thing for her is to cope with her, and let her know that we're here for her."

Scypher blinked. "Yeah. What she said."

Link nodded slowly. "You know...she is right. I don't know what it's like to have the stress of having to return and lead an entire nation..."

"Then again," Tara added, not wanting this to go the wrong way, "she doesn't have all the pressure of being you."

Link shrugged, "I guess you're right..." he said, smiling.

Tara grinned. "I'm frustratingly correct."

Scypher blinked at the two. "So...um...what about her?"

Link looked thoughtful, then smiled.

"She's always had a guilty conscience as a little kid...and she still does. If we wait it out, she won't be able to stand it, and will aplogize up and down."

"Yech." Scy made a face. "Not sure I want to be here for that."

Link grinned. "It won't be for a while. Did I mention how stubborn she is?"

Tara smiled wryly. "Yes."

Scypher scuffed her feet on teh dusty earth. "So...yeah."

"Quite," agreed Tara.

Link sighed. "I really wonder where Aqua went off to...she's just disappeared."

Tara looked around. "I'm sure she'll be alright..."

Link looked doubtful. "Iddaknow...you get a feeling sometimes, when things aren't quite right..."

"What do you suggest we do, then?" She folded her arms, listening.

"I don't know..." he said, scuffing a toe.

Tara pursed her lips. "Well, then, if that's it, I'm going to get someting to eat."

Scypher blinked after her, whispered something to Kael, and climbed into the wagon.

Airas, not wanting to be alone, huddled up beside Link.

"What are we going to do, Link?" she said, forlorn.

He sighed, "The best we can..."

Scy slid out of the wagon with her short sword in one hand and a rough stick in the other. "So, then," she sighed, shaving the bark from the stick, "who's up for a game?"

Airas looked up, smiling brilliantly. "What are the rules?"

"You can't laugh, no matter how funny someone is," the Kokiri said solemnly. "We each have to get each other to laugh, any way possible."

Airas nodded, and cleared her throat.

"WHY YOU SO STUPID! YOU HUNGRY FOR HOT POCKETS!"

...Not really.

Airas grinned at Scy, and looked at Link, smiling darkly.

"Ohhh, no...no no no NO!" Link said, backing away.

Scy blinked. "What's that behind you, Link?"

He backed up to a tree, before shimmying up into it.

{Mal: Mm...shimmy...oh snap! This thing's on?}

Airas smiled, and began to run towards his tree. "Get him!"

Scy launched herself up the tree, trying to grab Link's foot. "Oh, come on, Link..."

"NO! I refuse to be humliated by a couple of tiny fairy folk!"

Airas fake-scowled. "Oh, he's done it now."
