Changelings in the City

Tala looked at the candy store.

"A what store?" she asked

"u have never been in a candy store? have u ever even eaten candy then?"

Tala raised an eyebrow

"What's candy? And why do you eat it?"

"omg ill let laurie explain it"

"Only thing I ever eat is small animals and grass when I get sick." she said.

"its not for when ur sick"

"Then what is it?" she asked

Fang had always known she was a changeling, and had never really eaten 'people' food. She didn't have to eat with people because when she stayed away from them, mainly. So all of this stuff was new to her.

"ask laurie?"

Tala nodded.

"Laurie, what is candy?"

As smart as Fang was, and as much as she knew about Hyrule, it's history, and the wild, she didn't know about the more domestic, 'human' things.

"hey tala try this" he said and handed her a peanut butter filled chocalate thingy"

Laurie dropped her jaw.
"Candy...is the food from heaven. It can be sweet," she sad picking up a lollypop," Or sour." she siad picking up a sour straw.

She threw some change on the counter and went browsing fro her favorite candies.

She sniffed the chocolate thing.

"It smells weird. Is it candy, too?" she asked

"yeah its chocalate and peanut butter its awesome'

Tala looked confused, but decided to try it anyway.

She popped it in her mouth.

"It tastes...odd...but I guess it's good." she said "You know...for people food..." she added quickly in a whisper.

Pretty soon, she started to smack.
"Hey, why's it sticking?" she asked, panicked.

Laurie rushed over to Kayu.
"Don't give her that," she said grabbing it," it's bad for her, 'other form'." she said quietly.

"Try this." she said giving her a sweet n' sour rock candy stick.

kayu began to laugh then went and bought some candy

Fang was still smacking away, trying to get it out of her mouth

"Ugh!" she said suddenly, turning green "I don't feel too great..."

She felt like she was about to throw up. She rushed outside, leaving Laurie with the candy in her hand, and shoved handfuls of grass into her mouth to calm her stomach

Laurie hit Kayu atop the head playfully.
"See what you did? Now people are gonna suspect and it's all because if peanut butter cups." she said looking at Tala, giving a small snicker.

'hey ppl look at this mental hehe"

Fang looked up to everyone in the square staing at her dumbfounded.

"What?" she asked, grass hanging out of her mouth

"Yeah...we're getting her some treatment.."Laurie tried to explain while holding back her laughter.

Fang didn't get it.

She stared coldly at them all, brushed herself off, and stood.

"Go on!! I'm sure you have better things to do than watch people eat grass, Vultures."she said ushering them all away.

then they left from all the ppl

Tala frowned.

"I didn't realize they didn't eat grass when they were sick..."
