Of Nerds and Bullies

It was after school, and Vaati for one, was not going to stick around.

With brisk steps, he walked across the Quad and tried to get away before Kea-

Too late.

Keahi and his crew walked up in front of Vaati.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the nerd." he said laughing, and poking Vaati in the shoulder.

Vaati sighed.

"It is utterly sobering that you cannot find an insult of higher intelligence in your vocabulary to ridicule me with, and yet strangely amusing as well."

Keahid his head tough face on.
"I think this kids bein' a wise guy." he said pushing Vaati back further towards the wall.

Vaati hit the wall with a thud that knocked his breath out of him.

Still, his pride did not leave me.
"I think you're right." he said acidly.

"You think you're somthin' talking back to me, Eh?"he said , Laurie listening close by.


"Well, you're not." Keahi finished.

[dont save him...lol..i've got something planned. go ahead and beat the snot out of him]

Vaati laughed.

"Such wit! Such eloquence! Bravo, Mr. Rock-brain, bravo. I look forward to your next agonizing comeback." he sneered.

[lol, ok]

Keahi glared him down.He then gave him a huge blow to his gut. He put him into a headlock and kicked his leg. He let go and swung at him, missing and then gave a blow to leaving it bloody.

"Aren't so quick-witted now, are ya?" he said watching Vaati curled into a ball.

The blow hit him like a ton of bricks, (which, it actually kind of was...) and sent him reeling backwards.

Vaati hit the ground hard, holding his stomach, but not daring to make a sound, to let Keahi know he'd gotten him.

He wiped his bloody nose and began to collapse into one of his coughing fits. Perhaps it was courage, perhaps pride, perhaps even stupidity. Whatever it was, it could not let him lie there and just shut up.

Through gasps for breath he managed to say "It takes a big man to pummel a weaker man, truly. You inspire such greatness in those you come in contact with..."

Keahi grabbed Vaati by the collar and threw him quite a distance from where he stood.

Vaati hit the ground with a bone-cracking thud.

He could taste the sickeningly sweet taste of blood filling his mouth, making his stomach turn. He felt like he was going to be sick. His head was throbbing, as well as swimming.

Gasping for breath, he tried to stand.

Keahi walked over to Vaati, staring down on him.
"I didn't say you could get up." he siad pushing the weaker vaati down to the ground once again.

Lorine was standing near by but was too afraid to step in. She stood there and watched feeling helpless

"Ah!" he gasped, banging his chin on the pavement.

At that moment, who should appear out of the school doors than Kiara, in all her argyle sweatered, plaid skirted glory, looking at the mayhem unfolding.

With a cry, she dropped her books, and covered her mouth with her hands.

Keahi looked pver to KIara, then back to Vaati.
"Ohh, looky who's over there. It's your little girlfriend." he said circling him.

Vaati said nothing, just laid there.

Kiara, mustering all her courage, stormed down the stairs and into the Quad.

Her tone calm, but poisonous, she said "Leave him alone."

She stared up at Keahi, glaring daggers at him

Keahi laughed to himself, putting his foot atop Vaati's stomach.
"Ohh, I'm so scared." Keahi said mockingly," What're ya gonna do if I don't?"he said bending down closer to her.

Saraia looked through the window of the second story and rushed down to help her friend.

Vaati cringed, the weight crushing him, making it feel as though his chest cavity would implode.

"Then I'm afraid I'll have to do this."

Using all her strength, she kicked him right in the...uh...well, you know.

[ROFL!!!!]

Keahi, hitting the floor and cringing in pain, rolled about like a little girl.

Saraia, already on the move, came into the quad from the other direction. She began to laugh to herself a little, but saw Vaati in his condition, and helped Kiara pull Vaati to his feet.

Between the two girls, Vaati limped out of the schoolyard.

"Where do we take him?" Kiara asked.

Lorine ran over "are you ok?" she asked although she had no idea who vatti was

Vaati nodded.

"I felt the vibrations of that guy beating the crap out of you"Lorine said" i would have helped but"she bent her head down"i was too afraid"

Vaati frowned.

"He didn't beat the crap out of me, as you put it, thank you very much." he said, leaning heavily on Kiara

"oh sorry "she said and ran off
